8/10
4 out of 5 stars
We had a great stay in Arequipa, and overall this hotel is a solid choice. The biggest highlight by far is the staff—everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. They’re a huge part of what makes the hotel work so well.
The location is excellent—within easy walking distance to just about everything in the city.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, though not fancy. One thing to note: many of the rooms have windows that face into interior hallways, which means you’ll want to keep the blinds closed for privacy—unless you’re into hallway peep shows from strangers passing by.
The breakfast buffet was good, with a decent variety, but not quite at the level of some other hotels we’ve stayed at in Peru. And while the coffee is drinkable, it definitely wasn’t the best we’ve had (this is coming from people who really enjoy their morning brew)!
In the end, we think this is a very good place to stay and would absolutely recommend it—just with a few minor caveats that kept it from being a full 5 stars.
