"We loved this property. It was perfect for the two of us and our two small dogs. The property was the cleanest pet friendly place we have ever stayed. It is conveniently located to the touristy places we wanted to visit. The hosts, Betty and Jerry, were very friendly. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations.The property had everything that we needed from free WIFI to excellent parking to any forgotten toiletries.We highly recommend this property!"

"I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again."

"Dylan was great at communicating with me leading up to my stay. Cabin just down the road from Meadows of Dan . Have great coffee shop and places to eat. Just down the road from Mabry Mill . Close to the parkway. A definite place to put on a re-do next time in the area. Loved the ambiance . Cozy and loved the porch!."

"The neighbor hood is very nice. We walked up and down the street and stopped for ice cream. Wish we would have got to eat at the Mexican right across the street. The house is awesome! Betty was great and even set up a cot for an extra bed. The house had everything we needed. We loved the history of the house and enjoyed staying in an older home that was perfectly maintained. The only suggestion is maybe bring a sleep mask because the street light is by the house. I would recommend this house for...

"View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains!"

"Very clean home. Well appointed with lots of amenities…great towels! Lovely views without being too far up in the mountains and a long drive. Peaceful area with many deer and other wildlife wandering nearby. Excellent communications from Pat from booking up to and throughout our visit. Easy access and secure home. "Great place to stay in Mt. Airy! The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed to prepare meals. There was plenty of space to relax. We were very close to downtown. Would stay here again!! We didn't have young children but the play area would have been perfect if we did. We did grill and enjoy the hot tub. The host communication was great - not just autogenerated messages. Great experience! Super clean, too!"

"Some of the amenities listed for the property we're not on site. There was no hot tub. That wasn't a huge deal. However, the listing did state there was air conditioning and there was not. There happened to be record high temperatures during our stay and two adults have medical conditions/on medication that makes them heat intolerant as well as one of the children being autistic, the lack of AC was a major issue. "We needed a 1 level home for a getaway to visit one of our favorite vineyards, Jolo, which was only 3 minutes away. I was on crutches with a broken ankle, and this home met my needs perfectly.
