The guys here are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable with the best hospitality of anywhere we stayed on Jordan. This really was the highlight of our trip! "We were picked in an agreed time by Awdeh. We were then taken from Wadi Rum guest house by Hasim who was excellent driver. He took us out to all the prime viewing points in the Wadi Rum gor whole day trip. This included generous portions of traditional lunch. The camp is located at a prime spot from where sunset was amazing. The night stay in the camp was amazing. The team at the camp was very nice and looked after us very well. "This is one of the best camps I've been into at Wadi Rum; The location is amazing inside the the protected area; While all camps are claiming the same but this is not the case; This camp is not surrounded or close the main road; it is inside the desert where you need to drive for 8Km to reach it; so it is calm and quite; the staff are greate and cooperative; the food and the service is very good. You won't beleive the desert can be beautiful till you see this . "

"Desert Bird Camp is one of 35 camps in Wadi Rum. The owner can be easily contacted via WhatsApp and he replies very promptly. I did the 5 hour 4x4 tour offered by the camp. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our Jordan trip. All meals were of high quality and delicious. In the evening we all sat around the camp fire to chat with the local guides and cook. "Nous n’avons jamais pu atteindre le camp. L’adresse est celle du visitor center, le numéro de téléphone non attribué. Et après avoir passé 2h avec la police à rechercher le camp, nous nous sommes résignés à trouver un autre camp à 22h avec nos enfants de bas-âge. "
