"The location of this property is perfect! It was fairly central to all we wanted to see on Skye. The view is great and it is a short hike to a beach which was a great was to spend the mornings. The lodge was cery comfortable and made us feel at home."

"This is the perfect place to stay in Portree. The place is clean, modern, and spacious and it looks out over the harbor for a fantastic view. We always found a spot on the street to park but the church parking lot is very close if necessary. Really, the place is perfect. We loved every minute of our stay. "

Very poor value for money
"We definitely would not recommend and we would not stay again. Apart from the beautiful location and the friendliness of the staff, everything else was just dissapointing. The staff knowledge and appearance, the room standard and size, the room amenities, the restaurant decor, the menu choices, the food quality - all of it were far below our expectations in general, but at GBP 595 (USD 750) per night + the price for dinner etc, this was awfully disappointing. Even at hald the price, this would have been poor value for money, compared to everything else we have seen and experienced in Scotland."
