On arrival at 5am – reception staff not very friendly, didn’t explain anything to us; For example there is a shuttle that can take you to the beach or you can walk there approx. 5 mins across the road.
Room - Looked very spacious – on closer inspection the room was VERY unclean, we had to wipe the dust off the shelves!! Before we could put our clothes in the wardrobe, the floors were dirty and dusty – walking around in bare foot; your feet shouldn’t be coated in dust!!! Bedside table – 7 nights in we happen to run our hand over it and it was thick dust!! This was also the case when checking the sides of the sink/vanity area in bathroom – this is not 5*standard!!
Balcony – very dirty, glass not cleaned at all – this was never cleaned the whole entire time we were there!! There was also construction working going on across the road, what we didn’t expect to hear/see about 10 strays dogs barking, especially at night / early morning.
We did complain 3 times – no one seem bothered and no apology, even took the video footage to customer service – looked very uninterested and no apology.
Food:
Was very samey the whole time we were there, on some of the food on the hot food section, the lids were left constantly up – food was cold!!! My friend had food poisoning on the last afternoon from the lunch she ate and was very ill on the flight on the way home!!
