"In Marion for a family wedding. Perfect place for all of us (adult children and teenage grandchildren and pre-teen great grandchildren). Dramatic great room overlooking 5th tee. Got to review the golfers as an added benefit. Looks like a good spot for a getaway golf weekend."

"Cute house, right on the lake. Came down for college graduation, but seemed to spend more time at the house and lake thank anything else. House had every amenity needed, including a boat dock and electricity. On a whim decided to bring a boat along, and make a short vacation out of the trip. Looking forward to another trip down! Hopefully this house will be available on our next booking!"

"Scott was great to work with. Very quick to respond and helpful with all questions. House was very clean and everything we needed was provided. Beds were comfortable and most everything was maintained well. Outside was maintained, grill worked great, fishing off dock was nice. Few little things that can be bit better. Shower heads are low, some of us are taller and that made it hard. Kuerig didn’t work. Overall would definitely stay there again."

"Very cute house and nice area to stay in. Enjoyed the lake and the dock my husband caught a 4 pound bass on a fly rod. He was extremely happy love that it was dog, friendly and easy for my old dog to walk the property overall a very pleasant experience."

"Excellent location for hiking, exploring the wineries, or just getting away. The hot tub after a long day of hiking in the Shawnee was definitely a plus."

"Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, the property decor was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and the beds were soooo comfortable. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the deck and using the gas grill to cook and fishing off the dock. The kids enjoyed using the water trampoline. Brad was easy to get ahold of and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this spot to...

"Our stay at sailor's hideaway was amazing. We stayed from May 10th through May 15th 2024. The property is situated on a 2 lot corner lot with a frontdeck. Porch has a barbecue and a nice table to sit at to watch the sunset and sunrise. Birds were seeing we saw multiple. Dear mother, dear and not very many books. The property was not really decorated outside but again. They had some bad weather and flowers are just now. Starting to Bloom. The inside is decorated in a rustic beautiful relaxing...

"The details in the home are spectacular. They pop without being way too much. We loved the size, the lake view, the amenities, and the overall feel of the house. It was a peaceful environment and we had a great time! It was the perfect getaway weekend for us!"

"Cape Girardeau is about the halfway point for us (Wisconsin) and friends from Mississippi. This VRBO is ideally located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend."

"Adorable modern cabin in a very secluded area on the Wine Trail. We had a great time - the hot tub was so relaxing after a day at the a wineries. Loved watching the cows and the bull at the neighboring property, and we even saw deer on Sunday morning. Will definitely book again!"

"The cabin was adorable. The grounds around the pond and the cabin were all neatly mowed. Pond gave us extra excitement for our short trip as we fished. Really enjoyed our stay in this great little cabin. It didn’t bother us as we read all the amenities, but there is no stove. Just know this. There is a microwave though. Also the DIRECTV has about every station you can possibly think of to watch.Including Pay stations. This is a 9 out of 10. Super relaxing!"
