"The place was clean and tidy, well set up for a large group. Sadly my Dad and I arrived late at night so didn’t get to really experience the property much but I could imagine it being a wonderful escape for a big family or group of friends to enjoy. Walking distance to shops, cafes and the local pub/restaurant as well as the Farewell Spit tour company (which is why we were late arriving). "This is a break from the usual heave-ho. No television, no telephone, no internet. Peace and quiet and a delightful, woodsy batch."

"Such a wonderful part of Golden Bay, close to everything, especially Collingwood, Pakawau and incredible Wharariki Beach and Farewell Spit. Great bach which comfortably accommodated our family. Beautifully located between estuary and beach."

"Looks great online but the reality was quite a disappointment. The cabin was not as well appointed as I had thought given the cost, all a bit cheap and plasticky. The floor was sort of buckled and uneven in places and as such the door was a challenge to close. The container got quite hot as the weather was so good, but there was no air conditioning and no fly screens, so opening the windows meant I had to contend with some big bugs late at night (moths and cicadas).
