This was the first time staying at this hotel and we won’t be staying again. We have stayed at various hotels in the area for our family trips to Disneyland. This hotel was dissappointing especially after reading some of the positive reviews.
We had the two bedroom suite. The suite is very dated, you sink into the sofas which were not comfortable to sit on and the furniture is also very dated. The mattresses were very worn and not comfortable at all. Our room was located on a corner near Harbor Blvd and we could hear cars racing all night long. Our room also had an issue with a leaking AC Unit which soaked the bedroom floor. The maintenance crew fixed it while we went to Disneyland. When we returned, they had a large commercial drying fan running in our room. We were fortunate that it was done drying by the time we returned.
I did go to the bar to ask for a wine glass. It took 10 minutes before someone came to assist and then was not friendly. You could tell that she did not want to be there and was annoyed that I asked for a wine glass to take to the room.
The outside of the property looked nice and the parking was easy but that was about it.
Overall, this was the worst 3 nights of sleep I have experienced in a hotel in the Disneyland area. The walk to the parks are too far and don’t advise it. Maybe we just had a bad experience but I honestly don’t understand the positive reviews for this hotel.
