Lovely hotel with a great main floor (lounge & dining area) as well as friendly service & great morning buffet. However some disappointments: 1) booked a room for 2 adults & 1 toddler, arrived to an unmade sofa bed & had to wait for someone to come & make it before we could put our toddler to sleep; 2) ordered dinner in the restaurant second evening, waited an hour for our dinner to receive our orders mixed - my dish was well done & husbands was med-rare while accompanied with the wrong sauce. No point did a waiter come to check on us. We would typically have complained & waited for another dish but we had our 2 y/o toddler with us & the one hour wait was enough; 3) upon check in we were informed we would have a discount with the parking garage, but at check out they were out of cards so we weren’t able to have this honored for the multiple nights we stayed. Overall comment would be attention to detail is lacking.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.While we do not have our own parking, we are located right next to the PR Parking Hoofddorp and hotel guests receive a 15% discount on the daily parking rate of  15 per day, however, we are very sorry to hear that you did not receive this discount, please contact us directly and we will be happy to discuss this with you.We do hope we will see you again on a future visit. Opholdet var i det hele taget helt fantastisk. Blev mødt af fantastisk venligt personale som det første! Værelset var rent, hotellet er pænt velholdt og der manglede intet. Meget lækre omgivelser. Morgenmadsbuffeten var super lækker og med et vanvittigt flot udvalg af alt hjertet kan begære. Parkering ved hotellet (rigtig gode fasciliteter) for 15€ i døgnet. Hotellet ligger et rigtig godt sted med butikker og alt i nærheden, men samtidig roligt område tæt ved lufthavn. Personalet var behjælpelig med alt man kunne ønske og servicen var superb hele vejen! Klart et hotel vi kommer tilbage til.

Highly recommended
Very nice hotel with great service and lots of smiles. Easy to get into Amsterdam with the train near by (25 minutes). Breakfast was superb. Cleaning could be a bit better, but I can definetly recommend the hotel.

Staff were friendly. Efficient check in. There were some issues at the breakfast buffet spoke to manager she solved it. When we were checking out one of the tables in the lobby had a sharp nail head it caught my lululemon pants put a snag in them. I told the person at front desk she came and turned the table around. Said sorry.

The hotel is overall good choice. The rooms are clean and general atmosphere is positive. However the breakfast is certainly below average and expectations from such reputable hotel. It just lacks attention and care. The selection, quality, and functionality of the devices are all below average and low quality.

Sadly this was not comparable to the other wholly positive experiences we've had at other Novotel hotels. - The room was not prepared with a bed for our child, despite the clear inclusion of a child on the reservation, a reminder phone call days before arrival & further requests on arrival. - Food was served cold in the restaurant. - Despite buying several drinks & meals, we were refused tap water for an infant at the restaurant, which is just offensive. It's a shame that this stay, right at the end of an otherwise great break, has somewhat tarnished our otherwise positive view of the chain.

AC could only be set to 19 or above centigrades - my room was miserably hot (at least for me) waiter explained we would have to wait 45 minutes for dinner - then proceeded to take the orders of parties seated after us.. we managed to flag him down to take our order after about 30 minutes of arrival in the restaurant. Overall - we had a place and it is convenient for the airport - but would not choose to stay her deliberately

Had a lovely few days staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable and the breakfasts and dinners we had were excellent! The hotel is very convenient for the trains and buses - just a short safe walk to both.
