I am honestly sorry to read, that we were unaware of your discomfort during your stay in your originally booked room type. Hotel De Hallen is located in a heritage building, due to this special location, our windows are not to be opened and half of the rooms have a so called courtyard (or inside) view. Only our Junior Suites and a deluxe room have windows that could be opened to air the rooms. However we have an environmental friendly air conditioning system, which is providing fresh air. Upon availablity we are able to move you to different rooms or even to to one of our other property. I regret to read, you were so disappointed, you would not recommend our hotel.
