I was only informed that there were ongoing building works to the apartment block on the day I arrived. The works were ongoing for the entire duration of my holiday. I was woken up from my sleep several times to give electricansaccess to the apartment. Then we were told that the water was being turned off to allow for change of soil pipe from 9.30am-2.30pm - which actually extended to beyond 2.30pm.This mean't that we could not use the toilet and this was a major inconvience for me as I have mild disabilities.This lasted for ten days. Then there was the constant noise of drills, hammers and other machines. This was amplified from the city works scheme across the road to build public showers and toilet facilities.The enclosed photos tell the story of my 36 day holiday. I was the only one without a hard hat and I have come home with a chesty cough due to all the grit and dust swirled up by the sea breeze while I tried to relax by the pool.
