Kroer i Alfriston

"Fremragende prisen taget i betragtning, gammelt hus men værelse og bad var meget fint i standset. God mad, god morgenmad, fine senge og excellent service. Vi var lidt nervøse ved placeringen tæt på vej, men det var stille og roligt natten igennem!!"

"Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay."

"A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Overall a very pleasurable stay and my wife is already planning to revisit with a friend. The 8 Bells is a perfect location to walk to the Bolney wine vineyard and neighbouring...

"Stayed for 1 night. Excellent location close to Battle and scenic views, amazing staff, and great experience overall."

"Ingen parkeringsmuligheder overhovedet. Gammelt og slidt, få værelser ovenpå pub. Ingen servering af mad om aftenen. Hundekoldt på værelset. Men helt ok prisen taget i betragtning."

"Wonderful stay right where we needed it. The staff were all so friendly and the room a great size and stocked with what you need. Parking is mainly residential but there are numerous car parks around. Great food in the pub also!"

"The room was clean. The bathroom light didn't work and we were told we would have to use the communal bathroom instead. Couldn't open the window. Room had air vent from kitchen outside window."

"Dejligt sted ingen problemer "

"Meget fint ophold, og venlige medarbejdere. Der var dog en ejendommelig lugt af parfume på værelset. "

"The room was nice and big. The staff were friendly. The location was great, near lots of pubs and restaurants. The pub is good too, with friendly people. Not necessarily suited for young children on friday night as the area is loud until 0030, although it did quieten down once bars were shut. The shower water pressure in the evening seemed a lot lower than the morning."

"Mould on the curtain, mouldy on the wall in the bathroom! Don't find the room especially clean. Cobweb etc.. The room did not fulfil my expectation and I did not expect any luxury! Furthermore only wireless internet in the bar.."
