"Communication and check-in went smoothly. There had been some maintenance, and the worker hadn't cleaned up, so we collected his items and swept up the mess. The toilet was not very securely fastened to the floor, making it uncomfortably unstable and no shelf in the shower as pictured for toiletries. Overall, we feel that we over paid for the quality of the pictures listed. For what we paid, we expected, and assumed from pictures listed, a more updated unit."

"The Pinecone Palace cottage I stayed at was wonderful. It had everything I needed- clean room, comfortable bed, TV, outdoor space, and kitchenette. The outdoor space included a table and chairs and a fire ring, and parking was close. There was a heater and humidifier to keep me comfortable, and the kitchen area was furnished with dishes and utensils, and had a table with pull out stools. I would recommend Bear Necessities Cottages to anyone looking for a perfect stay, an easy drive from downtown...
