"I would not stay here again. the freezer was frozen and leaked on the floor. no extra blankets, the bathroom was not clean and had hair on the flor and hair on the shower floor. The place should have been half the price with the condition it was in. the worst stay I have ever had with an expedia property !"

"This is my third time renting this home. The host is excellent and very accommodating. The house is always spotless. Each room has its own full bath and there is a half bath on the first floor. Washer with clothes line and full kitchen for cooking. Large patio with grill. Safe with fenced parking. Location is between Ajijic and Chapala. I would highly recommend this property."

There is a built in water filter/purifier with a separate faucet for drinkable water at the kitchen sink so you don't have to worry about buying drinking water. "This property was pretty close to perfect. The house was beautiful and the views of the lake, mountains, sunrises and sunsets were amazing. We made a point of taking a couple of days where we just hung out at home enjoying the house, pool and views. We were able to walk a lot of places and arrange tours with guides that picked up/dropped off at our house. Wished I had left several pair of sandals at home and brought a couple more pair of sneakers as wearing sneakers made navigating the hilly...

"The villa and views are gorgeous. This is basically three large bedrooms with a sitting area. The outdoor kitchen didn't have plates or silverware so you couldn't really make food to eat there. The pool was perfect and we enjoyed the restaurants and cafe nearby. There are a lot of dogs on the property. At least 5 big ones and a few small dogs too. We liked them but sometimes it was overwhelming. Also the sink water was sometimes brown. The hosts were quick to respond and very organized."
