2 nights at Airlie Beach
The all area of the hostel is really cool, it seems you are in the middle of a small forest right in the center of Airlie Beach (2 minutes from the lagoon). The cabin was nice and well equipped, it has a bit of a glamping vibe. The shower was a bit tricky but it does the job. There is a common kitchen and a coin laundry. There is also a pub in the hostel which can be a bit noisy in the evenings but they close early

Billigt, centralt og skøn ferieby.
Vi var yderst tilfredse med opholdet. Placeringen var helt i top, centralt beliggende i Airlie Beach med alt indenfor gåafstand. Super fine forhold, prisen taget i betragtning.

Godt hostel!
Fint område med masser af muligheder for at købe og tilberede mad. God service og venlige medarbejdere. Værelserne var fine at sove i, men ikke til at opholde sig i ellers

Nice place for a couple of days
Rigtig fint sted, hyggelig atmosfære lige ud til byen hvor det sker. Vær opmærksom på det ligger lige bag ved en bar, men vi kunne ingenting høre inden i vores værelse (privat værelse). Kan sagtens anbefale for et par nætter!

Ok til prisen - meget støj
Belliggende i baghaven til byens største, udendørs bar, så masser af liv og musik hele natten. Til gengæld rigtig fin pris for dobbeltværelser og pænt indrettet fællesområde. Aircon virkede godt - Wifi virkede kun sporadisk og kun på fællesområde udendørs. Lige op og ned af bymidten, supermarked og spisesteder og et godt udbud af ture fra receptionen.

The room was nice and I was happy to see it had a fridge! The staff was really helpful. Really bad wi-fi and it only "worked" in one tiny place of the forest!

Billigt backpackerhotel, i centrum.
Plusser: Der er masser af plads til at socialisere i stort fælleskøkken og opholdsstue. Hyggelige omgivelser. og lige i centrum af Airlie Beach. Minusser: Ligegyldigt personale der tog telefonen flere gange mens vi var i gang med at checke ind og på ingen måde gav de sig tid til en gæst af gangen. På trods af forbud mod fest, druk og larm på værelserne blev denne regel ikke håndhævet da der var flere der festede til langt ud på natten. Som gæst kan man iøvrigt risikere at blive tjekket for ID kort, hvis man går den 'forkerte' vej ud af hotellet, nemlig gennem deres barområde som ellers er den mest naturlige vej at gå ud. Hvis ikke man har ID på sig, må man ikke engang gå igennem området da skal man tilbage og hente ID på værelset eller gå af bagvejen ud. Alt i alt et uprofessionelt sted, der kun reddes hjem af de hyggelige omgivelser og det sociale køkkenområde.

I loved Magnums. We had a triple room with an en-suite and the space was great. The large double commercial kitchen downstairs was always busy but always with enough space to cook. It felt like a tropical resort with lush green trees everywhere.

Amazing value and deceptively quiet. I was concerned when I heard it was beside a local night club but I had nothing to worry about. I was in bed early every night and was never awoken

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The property feels a bit like a rainforest with all the trees and canopies. The mattress and the cabin in whole were a bit dated. We didn’t care for the shower (curtain) set up and the way the shower pan had been patched up. The AC was super powerful and we also had a ceiling fan, which was great with all the humidity. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The cabin was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning worked well so the room was always cool, even with very hot temperatures outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shared bathroom was maintained well. There were a lot of bugs around all the time as cabins are surrounded by trees.

Things we liked: Friendly staff Spacious room In the city centre Could book tours from the reception Things we didn't like: Bathroom was outdated and water pressure was too much and difficult to regulate. Water temperature was sometimes interchanging between cold and hot.

Brilliant stay in Airlie Beach
We had two brilliant stays separated by a 3 day tour. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the place is amazing, like being in a rainforest. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great location.

Had a great time here! Stayed just one night, arrived after hours, so phoned ahead to let reception know. They advised they would pop a key in a safe box for us and text us the pin number, which they did. Super smooth check in. The room was fine, and the overall layout and feel of the place was great! Excellent location, right across the street from the lagoon. The friendly reception staff were happy to mind our bags for a few hours after we checked out. Highly recommend this place 😊

I liked the setting very much. You felt like you were walking through a rain forest even though you are right in the centre of the main street. The communal areas are very clean, I liked having an electric kettle, some crockery, cutlery and a small fridge in the room. Shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are right on the doorstep. The beach and a swimming area are just a short walk away.

Beautiful setting for this backpackers. Being in our 40s, my friend and I like our home comforts. To find that there are 2 showers to every 6 rooms, and are attached to each accommodation block was great, it not just a massive shower block miles from the room. The showers are really good. Reception staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly.

A jungle feel within a popular resort.
We stayed in Cabin 74, it had a nice outlook overlooking a hammock and a picnic table. Although the shops were nearly, we felt as though we were in the jungle. In the accommodation, the windows were dirty, the blind wasn't working properly and there were no fly screens. It was still nice though.

+ situation centrale - Très grande structure avec beaucoup de monde Manque d’intimité Propreté relative des sanitaires J’ai fait 2 réservations successives dans cet hébergement : à la 1ere on m’a attribué une chambre dans un bungalow moisie et qui sentait fort l’humidité, de plus la fenêtre ne tenait pas ouverte donc impossible d’aérer et de rester dans cette forte odeur de moisissure. Suite à ma demande on m’a changé de bungalow. Puis la veille de mon départ je reviens à l’établissement et là ma chambre avait été vidée de mes affaires. En allant à la réception on me dit que pour le jour de réservation supplémentaire je ne peux rester dans la même chambre. Je retrouve mes affaires en vrac, certaines fourrées dans des mes sacs, d’autres par terre derrière le comptoir de la réception. Personne ne m’avait prévenu qu’entre mes 2 réservations je devrais changer de chambre. C’est juste honteux de fouiller comme cela dans l’intimité de mes affaires. En plus la réceptionniste est vite devenue désagréable suite à mon mécontentement. Et là elle me replace à nouveau dans la chambre moisie que j’avais déjà refusé une première fois ! (Pour info c’est la no 152 ou 154 je pense) On dirait qu’ils essayent systématiquement de placer cette chambre en espérant de la donner à quelqu’un qui l’acceptera. Je l’ai refusée pour la seconde fois et on m’en a attribué une autre.

We have reached out to our team so we could get some details regarding your stay with us. 2 separate bookings were made through Expedia. The first one was for a double room with shared bathroom, the second booking was for a twin room with shared bathroom. As the bookings were for 2 different room types, check out had to be done in the first room, as your second booking was in different room type. Our team checked the room you were meant to check out from after your first stay and noticed that your belongings were still in the room and check out had not been completed. Our team tried to reach you by phone, we called multiple boat companies to see if you were on a day trip, and we messaged you through Expedia as well, with no success. Our team made all efforts possible to contact you and we also waited as long as we could before respectfully gathering your belongings. The 2 bookings made through Expedia were separate bookings for 2 different types of rooms, so there was no way for our team to notice or let you know that a change of room was required. Our team made sure all your personal belongings were safely at Reception. We truly believe our team went above and beyond in this matter due to the circumstances, even moving you to another room on request for your second stay with us. We are experiencing very high occupancy so a room change is normally not something our team is able to do often. We have liaised with our housekeeping team regarding the damp smell, and we are working on this. Gilles, we will continue to work hard to create the most amazing experience for all our guests, and feedback like yours will help us achieve this. Centrally placed. Parking easy and convenient particularly for cabin 67. All required facilities present and functional. I cannot think of a better place to stay next visit.

Beautiful setting, very close to the Main Street which has everything you need from groceries to pub’s and restaurants. The tour companies have pick up locations very close also. You can walk to just about everything and the pool is also very close.
