"We loved our stay! If possible, having different breakfast options each day might make longer stays a bit better, rather than the same menu each day. I’d recommend a manager’s “reception” each night with wine, cheese, fruit, etc. The house is definitely made for entertaining. Also, while the soaps in the bathroom were nice, switching to a spa brand might also make it a bit nicer. Our room, the Maria Pia was very comfortable and it was nice hanging out in the common areas. "Donna and Jim were AWESOME!! We took the opportunity to "road trip" through northern NY to catch some fall foliage. Stumbled upon the Sherman Inn as darkness fell upon us as we made it into Ogdensburg. What a find!! Between the rooms, the history of the school, the breakfast and the graciousness of our hosts the experience could not have been better. "Had an overall wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back and staying again in the future. Owers were very kind and a pleasure to talk too, they were alo very accommodating and flexible with check-in. After a long drive and later check-in the complimentary glasses of wine and charcuterie board were a wonderful plus and a great start to what was an amazing weekend.
