"We appreciated the historic feel of Coltrain and of the house itself - hardwood floors and trim and plenty of windows.Loved the hot tub - which was chlorinated rather than salt water.The driveway was carefully sanded because of the ice and the friendly host even blew the snow off our cars."

"Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. "Our mom group had a great stay, plenty of room for all of us to hang out, shuffleboard table was a hit! Kitchen was well equipped and was great for us to gather and make meals. Short drive to Berkshire East for the skiers and to other areas of the moms that wanted to go exploring."
