"Nice room, but the spa did not work. The staff really tried.....but it did not help it wars broke. And we did not get any compensation.
The pool area is Nice, the food is good.
It is a perfekt location for Tikal.
The hotels proces is much more expensive than Down the Road. Here you can find transport, water, guides much cheeper."

"This place is really close to Tikal National Park which was great for us. We were on a sunrise tour in the park, vent back to the Hostal for lunch, and then walked back to the park again. It was pretty easy do to the location of the Hostal.
The restaurant has good options for food.
Be aware of, if you do not rent a bungalow, then all the electricity is closed down 11pm until 6pm. This included the fan in the room. "

"Loved being so close to Tikal. Rooms were clean, staff super nice, good food at kitchen, pool was great at the end of the hot day (warm water from the sun so not refreshingly cool but good). Electricity limited - bring uSB plugs (no USB-C ports) - but they will charge devices in the office if you ask. Very few food options nearby but hotel restaurant was very good. Fav: burrito. No AC, ceiling fan only. I opened all windows and propped bathroom door open to get a small cross breeze but...

The first night we were there we heard howler monkeys close by and saw a Toucan (wild) and many birds. The hotel is supposedly run entirely on solar power, although that’s not something I could verify. But kudos to them. The room was very spacious for my son and I and so was the bathroom.
