"We were meeting friends to go to the Highland games and there were little lodging available at a reasonable price. I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. One friend was very tall and in a bothies with lower ceilings so they offered a different one but they didn't mind. We all enjoyed the wood stoves, the environment, and the beds. "Very comfortable cottage, nice area. Nice walks possible nearby, as well as in the national park Cairngorm. We visited the Highland games in Aboyne, which was great fun."
