"It was a cute clean little house. Conveniently located to downtown. The driveway was very narrow and the trees needed to be trimmed, but we also had a big truck. There was plenty of seating but no table to eat at and could use a couple bar stools. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the appliances were very nice. Check in and check out were super easy. I would stay again."

"We absolutely loved staying at this lovely cottage! Sitting on the front porch rockers in the evening watching the lightning bugs was so peaceful. The yard and house were perfect for a weekend away and the location could not have been better! It was walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Creeper Trail. "We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. "We have come to Bristol for years for the N.H.R.A. and started at the cheap hotels with horrible results up to the top suites hotels with 5-star ratings. The Cottage by the river was by far the most enjoyable stay we ever experienced!! The cottage was beautiful and the view world class!! The Owner's and Neighbours are the best, polite and friendly!! "We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement. "The house itself was absolutely beautiful. I was awe struck when I walked in. It was clean and cool (it has 88 degrees outside). The view was beautiful from the back porch. Hubby and I sat outside well into the night just watching the water rise and fall. Hubby fly fishes and caught a few rainbow trout right outside the back door. You won't regret booking a stay.
