"A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!"

"A fantastic location. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room was very well priced, somewhat dated though (decor, small TV, shower, etc) but clean, comfortable, complementary water/biscuits and a great view. Food was very good indeed, but heavily priced (e.g. £25.95 curry, £18.95 spaghetti Bolognese, £7.50 pint lager, £10.95 continental breakfast) - also watch out for the service charge when settling up. Breakfast good. Parking £7/night and right next to the hotel. There's no phone signal...

"When we arrived the doors to both bedrooms were closed. Upon opening the door into the main bedroom there was a disgusting very strong smell. "This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."
