"From the outside it looks like an old timey 1950’s hotel. However, the rooms and bathrooms have been totally redone inside and they’re beautiful. Would stay again. A hidden gem. A Few good restaurants not far down the street, too. "

"We got in late but the owner was quite understanding and made us feel at home. Everything was clean and functioning. Next morning, the breakfast was very good and our host sat down and chatted for awhile. Very interesting local stories about the revolutionary and civil wars wars. Before we left, we got a few recommendations for restaurants in our next stop. Very nice overall."

"This is place is a gem! Quiet, off of the beaten trail, & right on the water. Nothing fancy, but then are you on vacation just to stay in a hotel room - No! The bed was comfortable (pillow top mattress) and the people are wonderful! We stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks & extended our stay by 1 night because of hurricane damage to our ultimate destination."

"This was an exceptional rental property. It exceeded our expectations...and I think that says a lot about a place. The management company for this property were solid professionals. This property was immaculate. It was super clean. The decor was thoughtful, rich, and comforting. We wanted an amdience and vibe. This place nailed it! Highly recommended!"

"This place is amazing. Celeste is a joy to work with and very accessible during her availability hours. Not only was she great with us, but I could tell she has a good working relationship with the property owner. The only issues we had were QOL. The main television was a bit of a trial to get VUDU/Fandango for after hours when we got home. But Celeste was on top of it the very next morning and arrived at the exact time she quoted. The shower curtain was a bit on the short side for a curved...

"This house was advertised as being able to fit 8 people. All 3 bedrooms had very worn out mattresses. The sleeper sofa was missing springs. Two of our family members had to sleep on the floor and an air mattress we purchased. There was not enough dinnerware and silverware for 8 people. The bar stool (for extra seating ) was so wobbly that no body dared to use it for fear of breaking. The deck would have been nice, if there was a dining table and four more chairs (there were 2 dining chairs...

"Property was great and it is very close to the beach area as well as the wild ponies. Walkable to all the coffee shops and ice cream. Only downside, if you cook there is nothing locally good to eat but won’t hold it against the area, just preference. People were great and coffee shops were great. "

"This was an amazing condo with a beautiful view of the lighthouse and a heartwarming look at lots of ducks and geese as their feathers shimmered in the sunshine. This cozy condo had all the comforts and amenities that my husband and I needed for a weekend get-away....with a full kitchen and comfortable bed. A second bedroom had two twin beds for those that may be traveling with children. Very nicely decorated as well. We will be back!"
