"This property was beautiful. The location was ideal and so easy to visit the little towns around the lake by public boat. You could make it anywhere around the laje in under 10 minutes. The staff was amazing, food was great, the views were stunning. Everything had so much character. We had the best time and we'd love to go back. "

"We arrived early evening, but spend a long time finding the hotel, as there are no sign at all, the marker for the hotel is wrong on google maps and they have no address. "My husband and I had wonderful stay at Kula Maya, and we saw the most beautiful sunrise from our balcony. Sofia and Wendy, who were at the front desk, were really serviceminded both prior and during our stay. "

One block away from the famous church and Mayan market. "I absolutely loved this hotel and staff. Everyone was amazing. The front desk people were so helpful, called us tuk tuks, ordered in food for us. I wish i remembered his name but one of the guys spoke English and was awesome. The tuk tuks from hotel took only about 15 mins to get us. Santander street (all shopping, bars and restaurants) was like a 8 min ride away and a 30 min walk which we did a couple times. The view from the hotel was absolutely insane. "Check-in went very smoothly and the receptionist was kind and helpful. The room was nice, although a little bit dated, but overall it was clean and had good amenities, like a coffee maker and refrigerator. It was within easy walking distance to shopping and dining, and although about 800 meters from the launches (to visit our towns along the lake), it was a level walk"
