"The hotel was as described and very clean. The only issue was the bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever had at a hotel. That’s the only drawback but a major one for us."

"Extraordinary bed and breakfast. Accommodating and quiet. Covered details like facial tissue boxes and extra pillows. Breakfast was different each of the three days. We liked the dogs there who were well behaved and friendly. This is a unique location right on the river with lounge chairs and centuries old oaks. "

"It is being renovated so the outside is a little rough still but the inside and rooms are gorgeous. It’s going to be perfect when it’s all said snd done. Location is great snd walkable to Gruene Hall. "

"it was very poor, the thermostat to control the room temperature was out on the landing and it controlled 3 different rooms, I found our room hot so I turned the thermostat down before we went out for the evening, came back to find the room still hot, someone had moved the thermostat back up, presumable someone from one of the other rooms?? We then turned on the ceiling fan which must have been 50 years old, a big cast iron type fan, well the noise was unbearable, it was like a jumbo jet taking...

"I'll start by saying the receptionist was very kind, but unable to help. A mistake was made and i was given a smoking room, instead of nonsmoking. The breezeway and my room smelt terrible. The blankets, pillows, everything. So make sure to verify nonsmoking if you want it. The pictures isn't at all what my room looked like. The remodel must've been done by drunkin, blind man. The paint "touch-ups" were a different shade, they didnt attempt to not paint the ceiling (maybe that was the look they...

"The motel had no record of my reservation from Expedia. There are no empty rooms in the entire town at any hotel. Due to the staff they found a room for me ..just luck. "
