"My son and I stayed a few days after the sale of my home in Ft Worth and we both fell in love with the property. Everything is as advertised but what you can't get a feel for is the amazing grounds you will be on. Gorgeous pecan trees, a pond, the Trinity River adjoining the property, acres and acres to take a walk on and animals to amuse. It is a great place for some serious R&R! Communication with the owners is easy and prompt, they will take care of you!"

"I appreciated how every bed had an outlet, and wifi was available (albeit hard to log on at first). The beds were comfy and the shower rooms provided soap/shampoo/conditioner. Also loved how I could walk straight out for a drink at the bar (didn't try the restaurant). My only disappointment was that the complimentary breakfast offering was paltry, but it feels silly to expect a continental breakfast considering the great price."
