Quiet area. Central location means less travel time when scouting different areas throughout the week which means more time on the water. Garage was big enough to fit my 24 foot total length boat/trailer along with an SUV. Fast WI-FI for multiple devices. Large Smart TVs in living room and main bedroom had satellite connection, were easy to use and had lots of good channels available. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms. 1000 watt microwave heated quickly and evenly. Nice electric stove/oven and nice electric BBQ pit which was already filled with fluid and they even provided a bag of charcoal for us. The issues we had were minor and would not prevent us from staying here again. 1) There were crumbs on the counters in the kitchen when we arrived.. Kitchen countertops are rough painted wood which made it hard to wipe clean because it snags the rag. 2) Bathroom in main bedroom is very small and the sink that sits upon the pedestal is not connected so if you happen to rest your elbow on it while brushing your teeth, it will tip. I would definitely not let an elderly person use that bathroom for fear of them bracing themselves to walk when getting out of the shower and the sink falling along with them. 3) Roof of the screened in back porch leaks in multiple areas when it rains. 4) The dryer is in the garage which is only accessible through the back porch or by lifting the main garage door but it works well. 5) There are brooms, a mop and a vacuum but cleaning supplies are limited so you might want to bring your own disinfectant wipes if you want to keep things clean throughout your stay. They did have a container of pull out alcohol wipes but they are fairly small and dry out way too fast to really clean good with them. There was a nice washing machine and some laundry detergents and softener sheets, although, I always bring my own. There was Ajax dish soap for manual cleaning and dishwasher detergent if you prefer to use the dishwasher. The last thing I want to mention is that there is no garbage pickup; so, if you’re staying 7 or 8 days and you don’t want smelly garbage in the garbage can in the garage, you may want to bring the garbage to the Toledo Town Compactor Site. Anyway, I only mention these things to help others be better prepared for their stay, not to deter anyone from staying. We would definitely stay here again.
