Lovely hotel
Our stay at the hotel was overall very nice. The Hotel is located not far from downtown Zurich and tram # 2 provided easy transportation. Moreover, there is a Kebab Place and an Aldi in close proximity. We stayed during the Christmas Holidays. Note that that you will be charged an extra fee by the State. 

Pros: The Hotel is clean and staff are friendly, you feel that you are guesting a pleasant and professional hotel. For an extra fee breakfast is included and I would highly recommend it, because you will not get nearly as nice and “cheap” a breakfast if you decide to eat breakfast somewhere else. The breakfast is a continental buffet and provides different kinds of cereals, yogurts, bread, scramble eggs, boiled eggs, fruits, meats, cakes, as well as fresh juices and a cappuccino machine. It gives you a great start to carry on the rest of your day. The room itself is clean and nice, with the essentials. And the hotel is located in a quiet area a bit outside central Zurich. Cons: We had booked a room for 3. It stated on the site (hotels.com) that there were to beds and an extra if needed. I called +Hotel to ask whether this extra bed was a couch or a foldingbed. I was reassured that the room had 3 normal single beds. When we arrived the room surely had three single bed, but the third bed was a roll-in bed. This bed was not comftabele (shorter) and the room was too cramped and not suited for 3 people, and shouldn’t be promoted as such. No fridge in the room.

I liked the hotel and staff so much. They were welcoming and polite. The only down thing about the hotel is that the room doesn’t have fridge or microwave and the AC wasn’t working well.

We were welcomed and checked in by very friendly front desk agent. The hotel is located right next to tram for easy access to downtown Zurich. They have all you can eat breakfast that you can pay for. Breakfast was good with lots of options for food and drinks. However, we had to ask the staff for silverware, then cups. Our room was overall clean when we entered. However, the stool/bench had some stains on it. Our main issue was with the non-consistency of our room cleaning. -On the first day, only the bed was made and the trash replaced. The towels were not exchanged. The hotel provided shower cap that I used was thrown out, but not replaced. -On the second day, we noticed the body wash in the shower was getting low and figured they would replace it. The body wash is connected to the shower wall. When we returned, the garbages were left with no bag. -On the day of our check out, we realized the body wash had not been replaced and we had a limited amount of body wash. Given the size of the bottle, we don’t believe it was filled before we arrived.

Hotel was clean and had good amenities. It is not in city center but the tram is just outside and it is a quick ride to downtown. Overall, we are happy with our stay.

There was black mold in our room. We reported it as we were leaving in hopes they would have someone clean it or possibly move us to a different room. We returned hours later to find nothing was cleaned. The front desk help wasn’t concerned and a bit snobby about it. It also didn’t seem to be located in a good area. It’s not in the city center as stated and takes two trams to get there. There was a man asking for money when we arrived back to the hotel and he then walked into the hotel. Didn’t seem safe especially for Switzerland. I would not stay here again.

The tram stop right outside the hotel was great for moving around the city, breakfast was good, sauna was nice (although I wouldn't call it a spa as it's just the sauna), the room was nice and tidy. Staff were very friendly, the only thing that bothered me were their multiple knocks on the door on the last morning asking me about my check out time.

The room was extremely hot on the first day because the air conditioning was not working. We asked the staff to fix it 3 times over the course of the day buy they did not. They also did not provide towels, but when we asked they sent to the room. They fixed the AC on the second day and things went well from there. Nice rooms, clean, and comfortable.

Good location for stay in Zurich : accessible public transportation, safe, quiet area. Everybody knows Switzerland is more expensive than other countries in Europe. But it is worth going to, for Swiss sceneries, culture and Swiss people.

I don’t recommend
I don’t recommend this hotel The location is ok but not really near the center. The staff were very cold and not welcoming, the room was not cleaned correctly and there were hair and dust in the bed, for a 4 star hotel not even a coffee maker but instant coffee powder and boiler! We were charged 35 CHF for our dog and we accepted this with no problem but nothing was provided for our dog, we wonder what the price represents when they don’t even do the cleaning throughly. We won’t be staying at this hotel ever again.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstücksbuffet ist alles dabei und sehr schön angerichtet. Auch das Essen am Abend war immer sehr lecker. Sehr netter Service. Auch das Zimmer war sehr schön und Sauber. Sehr gern mal wieder
