"This home has everything you could possibly need for a long weekend away, It is peaceful and has beautiful views. We spent the long weekend kayaking and canoeing. Evenings were spent around the large dining room table then relaxing on the dock,deck, or fire pit! The home is situated in a very quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes and gardens. We gave this a 5 rating however we wanted to rate it as a 4.5 due to the need for a through cleaning of the outside living areas, mostly the screened in...

"A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. The kitchen was pleasantly stocked with utensils and gadgets, one friend was like "wow, they have everything!". "We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was close to Charlottesville downtown and Shenandoah national park and thats what we wanted. There are several vineyards nearby. The host was easy to communicate with. We had some issues with water pressure that were promptly addressed."

"It was very difficult to get to the water with the big ditch and rocks that were in the middle of the path that was under construction for running electic to the boat house. The house next door constantly had a bob cat running a jack hammer and a backhoe beeping all day Friday and Saturday. There was no break, constant load noise both days. We went for peace and quiet and literally got the opposite. The house was nice but we were disappointed with the experience."
