"This property is a dream. Our room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the little kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. "Catalina has the best location on playa la Ropa, Zihuatanejo. The service is great and the atmosphere is warm and familiar. Do not miss the sunset at the Panoramic Sunset bar or the great food in the restaurant Linda Vista.
Despite the fact that parts of the hotel is showing signs of wear and tear, it is still worth every penny.

"Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home."

"Villas del Vigía had the most amazing view I have come across! Unfortunately, all three beds that were included in the villa were extremely hard, almost rock hard. I mentioned to the person in charge that my mom, who was staying with me, could no longer put up with her back pain and if there was anything they could do (like switch the mattress for example)
The reply was “we will see what we can do” and never hear back on that topic again, and a week later we checked out.
If you can’t sleep on...

"Check in and out went super smooth, lots of steps though if that's an issue, no elevator. Building is cool but aging, staff was awesome. The pool is small but nice only 2 rypes of beer, no light beer. Approximately an 8-10 walk to the start of town... but taxis are reasonable and very available. "

The unit we had should not have been available the bathroom was disguising the tile floor had no grout, the shower area had no glass doors so water ran all over the floor. No hot water, walls had cracks and mold "
