"Thé hotel is great, and very Japanese, the receptionist speaks practically no English. The rooms are huge and truly traditional with tatami mats and little toilet shoes, and has great views. But there is WiFi only in the lobby, and it is far away from Nikko if you don’t have a car. It is 30 minutes by local train from Nikko, plus a 10 minutes walk from the local train station and there is only one restaurant open in the town on weekdays, and since there is no restaurant in the hotel we...

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was our first hotel with an Onsen and found it to be a great experience to try the Japanese style with Onsen and wearing the special clothes at the hotel. The Onsen is great and have breath taking views of the Nikko area. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Nikko station which makes it easy. The buffet was okay. Good selection. A lot of elderly Japanese seem to come to this hotel for relaxation. "

"家族4人で滞在しました。少し古い設備のようですが、清潔でとても良かったです。 9ヶ月の乳児がおりますが、座敷なので思う存分ハイハイを楽しんでおりました。 坂の途中にあるので、荷物の運搬は大変かもしれませんが、駅から徒歩圏内ですし、車を持たない方にも便利かと思われます。近くにコンビニもありました。 日光江戸村に行くときにまた泊まりたいです。"
