"We stayed in the tipi unexpectedly after we learned the reservation we thought we had in the park did not exist. We were skeptical but couldn’t have been happier with the unique experience. Had we known, we would have prepared a little differently, but it was an excellent experience. The accommodations including the bed, the bathroom, the breakfast are, the fire pit and the common room were all great. What a happy accident."

"It was very nice. Great room with a convenient kitchen. Only issue we had was with the cleaners. There were small hairs in the trays near the sink area. In addition - the headboard over one bed had dirty splotches on it. When I told the manager the following morning he was very nice and receptive to my feedback. So much so that I would definitely return there and stay again. Great location only a few minutes from the North Entrance to Yellowstone NP. "

Gardiner provides excellent access to the NP with short queues at the park entrance and a 10 to 15 minute drive to Mammoth Springs. The check in process is a one person affair so depending on your arrival time patience is required although complimentary coffee is available whilst you wait. The lodge has 2 parking lots with the space at the back being the quieter one. Key...
