"The property is updated and well maintained. There was a storm the night we were staying and the power went out. I feel like the hotel staff did what they could to still make the stay comfortable, so I didn't lower the rating based on something they didn't have control over."

"It is 10+ min walk to the river center and the walk has to be through very shady and scary areas with about 3-4 police cars interrogating someone. The hotel is good, staff is good - but you have to step outside which is scary. If you were to walk around St Paul Downtown with kids, I would not recommend this because of the location."
