We had already paid through Expedia, but at reception we were initially told that the payment had not gone through and that we would need to pay the full amount again. "The place is cosy and the bed was comfy, however there were no sockets next to the bed and worse, there was no water pressure in the shower at all. The staff promised to remedy it, but ultimately didn't do anything about it. Maybe a bad room, maybe a bad inn."

"Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...
