Sycamore Retreat - Family Friendly, Waterfront Chalet

Spectacular views from every window! Sycamore Retreat is a family friendly, waterfront chalet on Lake Sycamore. Perfect for swimming, fishing and kayaking! BRAND NEW FURNISHINGS AND BEDDING The chalet includes a master bedroom with king bed, Roku TV and wonderful natual light flooding the space; adjacent main floor bathroom with washer and dryer; a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher; family room with a beautiful stone fireplace to warm up on those cold winter days, comfy sectional, DVD player and Roku TV, coffee table height foosball table; loft area with cute bunkbeds, twin bed, twin sized convertible chair bed, toys for the kids, oversized bean bag chairs and an additional Roku TV and DVD player with DVDs for the kids; additional bedroom upstairs with queen bed; full bathroom upstairs as well!

The deck has Adirondack chairs surrounding the gas firepit and a 6-person dining table complete with umbrella. Down by the dock, you will find a wood burning firepit, 2 kayaks, Aqua Lily Pad, life jackets, fishing poles and a beach area with beach toys! Ready for fun filled days in the sun!

Grab the S'mores kit and head out to one of the firepits to start roasting some marshmallows and making great memories!

Great place. Small lake shared with 2 other cabins, we were fortunate enough to be there without other tenants, which made it perfect and private. Double check directions, and bring some cookware and xtra fishing gear. All in all a lovely place.

Very disapointing

We were very disapointed in our stay. This is our 3rd summer at Innsbrook, the last 2 spent at Firefly Lane.We decided to try Sycamore retreat because it has full sized showers and a bigger kitchen, and with 5 aduts and 3 kids, that really helps. However, when we walked in the whole place smelled musty and moldy, and we noticed stains all over the carpets.The whole place was very dusty also, for as much as they charge in a cleaning cost, I would have expected it to be clean. In the pictures it looks like there is a sandy beach for the kids to play on, but when we arrived it was a small rock covered area, and was so gross that no one got in. It is on a very tiny lake, more like a pond, so we went to the main beach both days. There was no propane for the gas fire pit on the deck, and the upstairs shower head actually broke off the first night we were there. I called the host about it and was told as long as we had one working shower (for 8 people!!), that was all we really needed. Also, make sure you bring your own toilet paper, because they only provide a "starter kit" which includes 1 extra roll of toilet paper and paper towels. The previous house we stayed at provided enough to get 8 people through 4 days. Same with towels, we were given 5 bath towels for everyone to use, luckily I found 2 more in a bedroom closet....I don't know if our previous 2 stays at a different house were just exceptional, and this house is more the way it normally is, but we wont be back to this one

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful getaway at this beautiful house, on a serene, scenic property! Loved gliding on the peaceful water in the kayaks and taking in all of the surrounding nature. We beat the heat and had tons of fun at the Charrette Creek Commons pool and enjoyed the many amenities that Innsbrook offers. Lynn was so kind, responsive and accommodating. You must experience this place for yourself!

Great Cabin on a Small Private Lake!

Our family had a great weekend at the Sycamore Retreat. My kids (8, 12, 13) loved playing on the Lily Pad on the little lake and my son fished for hours. There are two beaches nearby, which we also enjoyed. The house is clean with plenty of space to spread out. Overall, it was the perfect weekend getaway.

35th Anniversary Trip

Our trip was amazing and the host was attentive and easy to contact. We enjoyed the cabin, fishing, kayaking and spending time at the pool. They are memories that will last us a lifetime and we hope to return annually! Wonderful experience.

Great weekend!

We’ve been to Innsbrook multiple times and this cabin was just adorable. Such a relaxing weekend. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus! Communication with the owner of the property was wonderful.

A relaxing getaway

This is a lovely spot in the woods. Beautiful views from the house and deck. It has a nice little lake for the kids to kayak on, kayaks provided. It also has a place for a small bonfire to enjoy and make s'mores. Our family had a wonderful weekend here.

A little slice of heaven

This was a beautiful property. Perfect for my husband, our daughter and a few friends. We enjoyed the kayaks, peaceful little lake, hiking trails and lots more. This was perfect for a weekend getaway. We will definitely return!

Beautiful chalet on a private lake

What a beautiful little home on a private lake! House was clean and well-stocked. The primary bedroom’s mattress was very comfortable (something most rentals lack). The fire pit on the deck was perfect, and the s’mores station was a great touch! We loved having direct access to the lake so we didn’t have to drive anywhere. We had a great time. We would love to come back!

Great location

The house was on a quiet small lake. Perfect! Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and fishing. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed some kikes before the rain set in. But we played games and watched a movie. All in all a great weekend.

Great relaxing stay

Thanks for a relaxing stay at the Sycamore Retreat house. We loved the dock, lake, fishing area, kayaks, deck and fire pit! The beds were amazing and the living room felt like being perched in a tree house.

Relax and Unwind

Sycamore is a lovely property on a small pond/lake. It has a beautiful deck with outdoor fire table as well as an indoor fireplace. There's also a fire pit by the water to make smores. Plenty of chairs. Everything needed for a comfortable get away. Toys to help entertain the kids as well as 2 kayaks. Enjoyable.

This was a perfect place to spend time with the grandkids and enjoy the outdoors?

Very happy with Sycamore Retreat. Accommodations are clean and the lake with the kayak's and Lily Pad is such fun. S'mores around the camp fire every night is perfect end to a fun filled day. Our family really enjoyed our stay here.

Everything You Need...Perfection!!!

The house was perfectly appointed. The home owners clearly take pride in the home and value their renters. Everything we could have possibly needed was at our fingertips. A smores recipe list and all the fixings were in a cute little tote to take down to the darling firepit area. They even provided a lantern, lighter and marshmallow roasting sticks. It was very cute. We've stayed at Insbook before. In our past stays, we've been a little disappointed in the property when we see it and try to stay there. When things are dirty, broken, leaky, not functioning properly and uncomfortable, you know that the owner doesn't stay there and doesn't care about the renters. THIS HOME IS WELL LOVED AND IT SHOWS! From the darling lake, well maintained deck and dock to the kayaks, life jackets and Lillypad...what a blast. We left only to get coffee from the new cafe' and take out one night at the restaurant. We could have stayed a week! The last thing I'll mention is that there instructions for everything. That was very refreshing. The welcome book had most everything you needed, but there were also laminated sheets here and there for with instructions. No guessing means no frustration! Communication with the host was also prompt and courteous. Once again, so much better than dealing with a management company! We would stay again and again! Thanks for attention to detail! Jill

Great Family Weekend

We had such a nice weekend. The private lake and activities were so much fun. Our children loved the kayaks, fishing poles & the lily pad. We all loved the fire pit and s’mores- even our dog enjoyed relaxing by the fire. In the future, you may want to add a few things to the kitchen, foil, plastic wrap, other pans and baking dishes. Also, since the rental is fairly new, you may want to stick up on refrigerator essentials like mayo, mustard, dressings etc. a few hooks in the bathroom will help with drying towels. Great week away!!

Enjoyed every aspect of the trip. We rented a golf cart from a local which was the best decision we could have made to get around the resort. The house and semi private lake was fantastic for swimming and fishing. The pool is a great place for a lake break…be wary that the restaurant attached to the pool is frequently closed. The regular restaurant was available regularly. We did go to the brunch, it was OK… not great. I’d opt for a home meal. The house was perfect for us. We hardly spent time inside but when we did we enjoyed the board games and hanging out on the deck. The s’mores set up was perfect for our boys. We also found a local person (Lynn helped) to rent a pontoon for a Lake Aspen day. Lynn was super responsive and a great host. All in all, amazing. Highly recommend.
