"We came to Matlock with the kids and grandkids from Canada, to show them their roots! The house was just perfect. A perfect spot for family and friends to visit, and we were within walking distance of shops, pubs, and a park. Daniel was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time, and it was hard to leave!"

"It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites. The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen. Will definitely come again."

"An absolutely amazing property. Spotlessly clean and with everything you could possibly need. Everything was of the best quality and all communication with the host and the information pack he sent was 1st class.Would definitely return and recommend to other family and friends."

"Absolutely beautiful converted barn, set in a lovely village, we had everything we needed and more, the host Jayne greeted us on the driveway and was very pleasant, we had a lovely meal in the pub across the road the homemade chips were delicious Thank you for a lovely stay would highly recommend this holiday home "

"Dark and gloomy area, not safe seeming at all. We were sent wrong apartment number so spent an hour trying to find 18 when in fact flat was 22.Heat kicked in at midnight and was impossible to turn down, WiFi barely worked and downstairs toilet was broken. Floor between living area and dining was cracked and constantly tripped people up. No dishwasher tablets also but overall most things we could have gotten over but sending wrong address just set the tone for a poor experience.Overall shabby and...

"Check in was easy communication with host was good lots of left over items around the house I.e someone’s dirty laundry left over food and bathroom itemsKitchen relatively well equipped no forks though!"

"We had a great stay at Hope Terrace. A brilliant house with plenty of room for the 7 of us and a great base to explore the Peak District. Would highly recommend and hope to come back in the future. "
