Set on 10 private acres with mountain views, direct river access, and space for up to 24 guests, Wellriver Retreat is the ultimate home base for your White Mountains adventure.

Whether you're visiting for skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, or simply enjoying time together, the layout and amenities make it a favorite for family reunions, retreats, ski trips, bachelor and bachelorette trips, group getaways and river floats.

Inside the main level, you'll find:
• A fully equipped chef’s kitchen with island seating and adjacent dining area
• Two cozy living rooms, each perfect for gathering or curling up with a book
• Five comfortable bedrooms and three full bathrooms
• A luxurious primary suite with French doors to the deck and an ensuite bath with soaking tub

Upstairs:
• A spacious bunk room with one twin-over-twin, one twin-over-double, and three additional double beds, plus a half bath
• A separate in-law suite with its own bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, living room, dining area, and private balcony for extra space and privacy

On the lower level:
• A full entertainment zone with home theater, wet bar, custom poker table, pool table, foosball, and gym area
• Two additional bedrooms and a half bath
• Walk-out access to the backyard and firepit

Outside, there's plenty of room to enjoy every season:
• A large firepit in the yard, surrounded by Adirondack chairs
• A second firepit in a riverside clearing, also with seating
• A spacious deck with grill and outdoor dining space
• A tranquil overlook at the pond’s edge (not swimmable; water levels vary seasonally)
• Open yard space for games, relaxing, or watching the sun set over the mountains

Just across the private road (still on the property), you'll find a riverside clearing with Adirondack chairs and a path leading to your own private rocky beach on the Pemigewasset River. Guests often enjoy wading, floating, or simply unwinding by the water.

• We love our furry friends and happily welcome up to 2 well-behaved, house-trained pets. Please make sure each pet is individually included on your reservation, as only pets listed on the booking are permitted. For everyone’s comfort, keep pets leashed outdoors, crated when left alone, and off beds and furniture. Guests are responsible for cleanup inside and out.

• We offer a limited starter supply of cleaning and paper goods and ask that guests supply their own firewood; please bring along anything you think you may need.

• Our team plows the driveway and shovels front steps for storms over 2 inches, prioritizing check-in and check-out times. The town plows our road on their schedule, so 4WD is recommended in winter. While our team works hard to keep things clear, we appreciate patience with any travel challenges that come with enjoying everything the mountains offer in the winter!

• No smoking anywhere on the property (inside or out).

• We are unable to allow additional guests beyond those included in the reservation's total occupancy.

• Our home is on a private dirt road and cannot accommodate large trucks or buses.

• Any trash left behind must be limited to what can fit in bins provided. We wish we could offer recycling services, but since they’re limited in the area, we know the planet will thank you if you have the ability to bring it with you. Bins are available for those who would like to sort and bring recycling with them.

• The main level with 5 bedrooms and bunk room are air conditioned and there is a window unit in in-law bedroom for summer months. The lower level does not have a/c but usually stays quite cool.

• Please purchase travel insurance to protect your trip as we must honor our cancellation policy. We are not able to offer refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/illness or other things that are beyond our control.

• We are available 9am-5pm via platform messenger. For emergencies please dial 911.

• Note that we love to host families and kids but can't ensure childproofing so please take necessary precautions to ensure safety for your family.
