"It's an older, dated property, but it good overall. The swimming pool and hot tub are both large and enjoyable. The staff was fantastic. They only have 2 floors, but no elevator. The guy who checked us in offered to carry our luggage upstairs for us, then provided us towels for the pool. We will be back again tonight because of the great service and convenient location nestled in the mountains "

"Been traveling for a year now. Hundreds of motels. This is the closest to like being home. Very comfortable. Daughter brought some food over so we could have dinner. Went downstairs and they gave me a box full of plates and bowls and cups and all the things we needed. The front desk people are amazingly kind and helpful."

They were doing construction on the castle when we were there so we could only see the first floor. We stayed in one of the lodges. The rooms are simple and clean. Great for an affordable getaway and home base while you explore Manitou and the surrounding area."
