"Lovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. I’d recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldn’t manage it!"

"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. "We stayed 3 nights in the Coach house recently. The rooms are fabulous and the views are stunning. Definitely 5* rooms however the whole place is let down by a few service issues. - We had no wifi in our rooms for the entire stay. When we enquired about this on day 1 we were told that it sometimes doesn't work and no effort was made to fix the problem. - Our plunge pool was filthy. There was sand in the bottom and when we looked at the neighbouring room's pool, ours was definitely green....

"Chantal and Charmaine were wonderful, warm and attentive to my every need. My room had a private balcony, walking steps to a glistening pool and lovely garden. My king bed was super comfortable and the hot cooked breakfast to order was such a comforting touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"I was met by the doggy patrol who shepherded me to reception. The host, Bob was genial and helpful with itinerary planning. A very comfortable room and expect the pet donkey and pony to act as morning alarm. I hope i will pass through and stay again"
