A beautifully restored cottage dating back to 1913, Lilly Pilly Arthouse is set in the stunning surrounds of Stanwell Park rainforest and features high ceilings, wide verandas, a wood combustion fireplace and swimming pool. A falcon range cooker in the country style kitchen, main bathroom with double shower heads, covered outdoor entertaining and lush tranquil gardens. (Please note only bedroom 3 is air conditioned, not the whole house).

Lilly Pilly Arthouse is a wonderful escape for six people wanting to make the most of this stunning coastal area while still enjoying modern conveniences and relaxed comfort. Relax in the sofas on the front verandah with distant views and feel totally at peace - you may even experience a visit from some of the stunning local birdlife!

With the local café just up the road making great coffee and only a 250m walk down to the beach with child-friendly lagoon, children’s playground with picnic area and The Pantry café and restaurant, the location of Lilly Pilly Arthouse is sure to please the whole family.

With the charm of a hidden coastal village oasis and set on what is arguably the most beautiful stretch of coastline, there is a sense of peacefulness which will make your stay memorable. Take pleasure in sitting on the verandah and watch the daring hang-gliders and their colourful sheets launching from ‘Bald Hill’ headland reserve and coming to rest on the beach (maybe even book a tandem hang glide for yourself!) A little further down the coast you can take in the spectacular Grand Pacific Drive and Sea Cliff Bridge and stop off at the ever-popular Scarborough Hotel. For those wanting to be more active you can cycle/walk the dedicated cycling and walking path winding from Stanwell Park around the coast all the way to Wollongong or head to Cawleys Trail for a bit of mountain biking! If you are a surfer you will ‘love’ surfing at Stanwell Park Beach – there really is something for everyone.

Linen
All linen (sheets and bath towels) is supplied for your stay and included in the tariff. For the comfort of our guests, we do not triple-sheet. All beds have a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a quilt with a full cover. BYO towels for swimming pool/spa.

Property Specific Notes
Enough wood will be supplied for the fireplace/slow combustion wood heater for the first two nights. After that, guests must purchase top-up wood and kindling from the local petrol stations at their own cost.

This property has staggered pricing over 6 guests. Please declare accurate guest numbers at the time of booking and update these if your numbers increase before arrival. The tariff is for up to 6 guests and there is a surcharge of 100 AUD per person per night for any extra guests staying to a maximum of 8 guests.

Children must be supervised at all times in the swimming pool.

Please note this property is not fully air conditioned. Air conditioner in one room only.

This property is located in a rainforest area and is frequented by wildlife including birds and a friendly water dragon (please do not feed him).

There is a separate studio on site, however guests will be afforded the utmost privacy.

Pets are welcome at this property. There is a $100 surcharge to have your pet stay please declare at the time of booking and refer to the terms and conditions regarding pets. Property is fully fenced.

If you bring a pet, a surcharge of 100 AUD will be added after the booking is placed.

Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge, issues will be dealt with Asap but cannot be guaranteed.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.  

Notes
Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you.

The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.

NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

Our standard check-in time is 4 pm and check out time is 10 am. We can offer you a complimentary early check-in or late check out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Please call our team to request this prior to your arrival. Please note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check ins or late check outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure a later check out or early check in is to book the property for an extra night, please contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. Please note that Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening of that week.

Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Beautiful house in beautiful town
Really enjoyed our stay, great spot for swimming at the beach, lovely large pool in backyard, plenty of wildlife, fishing, walks, cafes. Our dog loved it too and there was a safe fenced yard for him when we went out. Timed on leash dog walking at the beach before 9am and after 6pm. Otherwise the walking was a bit steep and hilly for my elderly husky. Kids had a great time snorkelling and swimming at the beach. House had everything we needed (including for BBQing and shopping bags), beds were very comfortable.

Choose a verandah and commence relaxing
Well appointed house with comfort and character. The pool was sparklingly refreshing and the beach a short walk down the road. The back verandah was perfect for watching the local wildlife. Great location in a beautiful part of the world. What else do you need to relax and recharge?
