Bay Tree is perfectly located for exploring the fells and lakes, footpaths from the cottage lead to the town centre and to Lake Windermere, a gentle 10-minute stroll away. There are many lovely walks from the cottage. You can make good use of the two parking spaces to leave the car and explore the local area or go further afield. It really is the perfect location with Lake Windermere, Orrest Head, and the stunning Queen Adelaide’s Hill viewpoint on the doorstep. Head back to the cottage after a day exploring and enjoy al fresco dining in the west facing garden.


Once inside you find yourself in a modern, spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining area with a breakfast bar, comfortable reclining sofas, and patio doors opening onto the enclosed garden. There’s lots of space for walking boots and jackets in the entrance area.
