Set on an upmarket holiday park on the lake''s south-eastern shores, this dog-friendly wooden pod comfortably sleeps two adults and two children, making it ideal for couples and small families that love to be immersed in nature. Located around 5 miles south of Bowness on Windermere, it provides a peaceful base for exploring the region.

Located on raised decking with a terrace overlooking the lake, this accessible glamping pod blends rustic charm with modern conveniences. Constructed from wood, it has a studio-style layout with an open-plan living and sleeping area, and a separate internal bathroom. The fully equipped kitchenette has all the essentials for preparing simple meals, and there''s a choice of dining options with a table inside and another on the terrace. Unwind on the sofa bed after adventurous days, then get snug under the covers of the double bed and be lulled to sleep by the gentle hush of water. This pod benefits from a ramp to the front door, and a series of accessible measures including lower worktops, under-sink space for wheelchairs, lower shirt rails in the wardrobe, room to manoeuvre a wheelchair and a shower grab rail and stool. There''s also one designated parking spot and space on site to charge an EV (at additional cost).

Bring a paddleboard, canoe or kayak with you to explore the lake, or slip into the water to enjoy a wild swim. Set off from your front door for woodland walks or lakeside strolls, or hop on the network of buses and ferries to explore the towns and attractions around the lake, including Bowness (5 miles), Windermere (6.5 miles) or Ambleside (10.5 miles). From the south of the lake, you can hop on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway for a steam train ride through spectacular scenery.
