Don’t make that long drive back home to Anchorage! Stay in this modern style cottage with a cozy rustic feel on 5 wooded acres. Full kitchen has refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee pot and is stocked with cookware, dishes, silverware and coffee to get your day started! Cottage is heated with energy efficient Toyo stove providing all the heat you need during the cold Alaska winters! Semi-dry (during the coldest winter months only) - stand alone water station provides water for drinking, cooking, washing, etc. but shower and faucets are sometimes inoperable due to extreme temps. Eco-friendly Incinolet toilet does not rely on plumbing, works all year long in all temps. Sleeps up to 4 people.
Located approximately 1/2 way between Anchorage and Denali, just 3 miles back from Sheep Creek Lodge at mile 88 on the Parks Highway and a 20-30 minute drive to Talkeetna. Hiking, cross country skiing and snow machining trails are all nearby.
Lake activities (paddle boat, kayaks, etc.) as well as Cornhole, Horseshoes, Gazebo and fire pit are available seasonally as weather permits.
Disclosure: 2 actively recording security cameras (Ring motion sensor, recording device/porch light) above the front door of each dwelling. It records motion and audio on the front porch & driveway of main cabin from approximately the gazebo to the opposite side of driveway, & just the driveway/front door of cottage. There are no cameras on the interior of either dwelling.
