Beautiful Country Cottage: fire pit, near MSU, Antiques, Winery & trails

Cozy farmhouse cottage, fully furnished, new construction. Located 20 minutes from MSU and 5 minutes off highway I-96. Enjoy the peaceful countryside of Williamston, MI, with walking trails nearby, antique mall a few minutes away, amazing food downtown, and a fire pit just outside the cottage. Come relax in this beautiful home away from home with your friends and family!

This is a shared yard with the owners who have chickens, barn cats, and a friendly dog (who might bark when he first sees a guest as he wants to meet you). If you’d like to have farm fresh eggs from the hens, we are more than happy to share some with you-just ask us!

Although we do have pets on the property, we ask that no pets go in the cottage as we need to keep it free of allergens for family and friends who are allergic to animals. Thanks for understanding!

Well appointed getaway in the heart of mid-Michigan farm country. This was our second visit, and we loved it just as much (if not more, if that's possible) this time! My best friend was married in the owners' barn two years ago, when we stayed, so this trip was a lot more relaxed and we got to appreciate the beautiful rural surroundings more. Sat on the porch, used the fire pit,. The cottage has a loft and a bedroom you enter through the loft, so if sharing between two couples, be good friends ;) It’s really nicely decorated, and the washer/dryer is a handy touch. We're already making plans to come back next time I'm in Michigan.

Peaceful

The cottage was pretty and comfortable. The yard and surroundings made me feel like I was back home. My kids liked it and was able to see all stars and some wildlife while there. The hosts were very nice and responsive when I had a question. I would definitely recommend staying there. My family and i hope to be back next year to see my family.

Nice location to all of our events. Felt like a getaway even though we only live 45 minutes away. I would suggest this to anyone looking to stay overnight in the Williamston area. Though our children are married, it would be interesting to spend time at a reception or a get together in the barn.

Love this cottage. My daughter graduated from MSU this year so unfortunately I will probably not be utilizing this cozy cottage any longer. I will miss it. I stayed here for football games and anytime I visited my daughter. Highly recommend. Extremely clean and has all the amenities.

Bucolic gloriousness

The pictures are accurate representing this cozy and well-appointed country cottage. We stayed in the early spring and weather cooperated enough to enjoy a fire in the outdoor pit with the world’s most comfortable Adirondack chairs. Inside, the kitchen is the perfect size for our 4 adults. The couches are comfy for relaxing with a cocktail and great conversation. The beds were so comfortable that sleep came easy - even on the first night (iykyk). Easy access from the expressway, wonderfully prompt communication and attention from the hosts. And yes, you park right on the grass between the 2 big pines lol Zero complaints, will stay here again.

Girls weekend

We had a great time at the property. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The fire pit area was nice spot to sit and relax. Great views with the fields and barn. The only thing we missed having was a tv, we didn’t realize there wasn’t one and we had hoped to watch some old movies together. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I was in town for a MSU football game. Very easy to get to campus from this location. The cottage was extremely clean, host is very responsive and I just wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back.

Coziest Cottage!

My husband and I, along with our 10-year-old grandson, stayed here for a week while our young guy attended a summer course at MSU. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, and your hosts have thought of lots of details that are charming and useful, like the well-appointed baskets of items in both the kitchen and bathroom. As a bonus, we were treated to a beautiful full moon rising above the fields, accompanied by a dazzling show put on by the fireflies over the lawn. Beds and all furniture are very comfortable, and you will find everything you need in the kitchen, including lots of coffee and a nice array of pots and pans. There Hosts are very responsive. You will enjoy your stay here.
