This was the first time we stayed at the Vibes hotel in Wildwood. Based on the website info, we had higher expectations than were realized. Being a Wyndham property we expected a higher quality facility. I don’t feel that the amount we paid (for four nights) was comparable to what we received.
We stayed in a king room, very very small. The room with two queen beds would probably have been more suited for me and my 6 foot tall husband. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom.
There was a security issue. There was no lock mechanism for the sliding glass balcony door. We were on the second floor so we assumed no one would be climbing the wall to get into the room. However, they should install one.
One of the swimming pools was unacceptable for swimming. The sides and bottom of the smaller pool were quite slimy. And the ladder to get out of the deeper end of that pool was broken. However, when we brought it to the attention of a hotel staff member, they immediately repaired it.
As a rather new property there are many improvements yet to be made.
