"We have the last year stayed at many hotels. This hotel is for sure one of the best. First of all the girls in the reception seems like the really love their jobs, and that is fantastic. It seems like there is employees enough to do the cleaning job excellent, I saw more than normal, and the hotel was clean. Big rooms in good condition and breakfast was that little better than normal without being outstanding. Good pool on the top. "

"We've been to this property many times however there were a few snags with this trip. We asked if a playpen was available via email and phone call. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. "This space had good separation of space, making it possible for people to step out for a nap. We had an unusually rainy day, and thus greatly appreciated the comfortable common space to read or play scrabble. The bbq is located in a covered deck, so we could still cook in the rain. "Nice private cottage in a great location. Had all the amenities required and we loved the hot tub. As mentioned before in some of other reviews it’s needs a deep clean, windows, curtains washed etc to make it shine. "In a lovely new neighborhood up in maple bay, we really enjoyed our little place while we attended a dance competition at the cowichan theater. Laundry, full kitchen, & a really nice fresh bread dropped off by the lovely hosts. I just wouldn’t ever want a hotel after this. Hosts were quick with responses to my questions. Grateful :)"
