"The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food.
Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent.

"We enjoyed our three night stay at The Brunswick Hotel very much. We had two rooms for five of us. We particularly enjoyed the dining room with its beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast was included and the choices were delicious. In the evening the Billiard Room was a comfortable place to have a drink and review the day. We also thought the Sunday Roast was outstanding. "Provides every need for a basic trip. We were in Portsmouth to visit family and it was a nice hotel to stay in after a long day of socializing with all the necessary needs. Also, they have a pool table!
