Disappointing experience — high cleaning fee, extensive chores, and little flexibility
We stayed at this home twice for two nights each. While the house itself is nice, our overall experience was disappointing, and we would not recommend this property to our friends or family.
The biggest issue was the high cleaning fee for each stay. Since we stayed twice, we paid double in cleaning fees for four nights. Despite this substantial fee, guests are expected to complete a long list of checkout chores.
We understand that guests should leave a home reasonably tidy, but being required to do this much cleaning after paying a substantial amount cleaning fee per stay feels excessive and unreasonable. Unless you are prepared to spend a significant amount of your vacation doing cleaning and checkout chores, this may not be the right place for you.
The lack of flexibility was also disappointing. Check in is at 4pm. We asked if we could check in just one hour early, but received no response.
Communication was another major concern. The owner was not responsive, and communication was difficult.
Nice house, but unfortunately the overall guest experience did not justify for us.
