The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. "This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. The place is great for seniors--only a few steps, a comfort height toilet, and a walk-in shower. "The place is fantastic and the location is in a great spot. So close to many things but the water is the best part. Lake living lives up to its promise in late summer here! The owner is an amazing host and superb communicator. This is our second visit to her location and it’s hard to say goodbye to the wonderfulness of her place and our old friends.
