"We stayed in the deluxe room, absolutely stunning views of Catbells. The room was incredible, a huge bathroom and such stunning decor. "

"We had a fantastic time at the Royal Oak. All of the staff were really nice and looked after us. We stayed in Room 15 which is on the top floor and is nice and cozy, very clean and had aircon. The complimentry tea, coffe and water was good quality along with the bathroom products which were also available at the shop in the main square. Breakfast was 10/10 in terms oif quality (locally sourced) and choice. "

"Very cozy hotel with great staff. Honestly, only downside was the bad wi-fi connection in my room. Apart from that, it was great and the staff was very nice.
Surrounding nature was also beautiful. 4/5 "

"Room very warm & cosy, lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. Not really a wardrobe but a small cupboard with hanging space!!
Fab food, great breakfast but you can’t have a latte coffee at breakfast!! Also breakfast finishes at 9.45am even at the weekend! Lovely dining room and great bar.
Definitely good value and lovely location. Xx"

"This was our second stay at The Pheasant Inn and we were not disappointed.
The rooms are wonderfully maintained & warm all year round, the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating (allowing us to store our bikes indoors) & the food is amazing!
There is so much to see and do in the area we will definitely be back in the new year too."
