Front desk guy was fantastic; he was friendly and informative upon check in. When we discovered that our tv wasn’t working he quickly moved us into a larger suite at no extra charge.

"I thought it was great for the price. Friendly staff, clean room. It was a little tough to find. The light on the motel 6 sign in the driveway was burnt out so I drove right by. I did notice the pool was empty but I wasn’t planning on swimming so I didn’t care. Basically a good hotel if you are looking for a clean, quiet room for the night. "

"The rooms were clean and the mini "kitchen" was stocked with plates and cups. It was helpful to have a sink outside of the bathroom too (with four people in a room!). The front desk and breakfast personnel were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. The location is OK, but a bit hard to find (tucked behind other buildings) and on a busy street. Internet was good."

"The Chrysalis was a great hotel and location as our family gathered for a wedding in July. The wedding was on the Schooner Zodiac which is docked near the Chrysalis. The hotel provided family dinner and brunch before and after the wedding. The setting for the meals was lovely - indoor as well as outdoor options for seating, with views of Bellingham Bay. The out of town guests were in awe of the beauty of the PNW. "

"For the price, the room was perfectly acceptable. Basically, it's a truck stop motel. The bed was comfortable and there was a fridge and microwave. The carpet was old and dirty and the shower had lots of damage. But it was a nice hot shower with good pressure. The room was quiet except for a hum from trucks outside. Fine for a road trip with two dogs."
